Island Park/Yellowstone

We (Eric & Devrea & Kids) just returned from a family reunion at Island Park. Here are a few of the highlights from our amazing trip. Hayden and Pierson loved the freedom they had on this trip. When we weren't in Yellowstone, they were at the river fishing. They became quite the fly fishermen. Above is one of Eric's rainbow trout that he caught at Henry's Lake!
We floated the Henry's Fork of the Snake River and Hayden did an amazing job guiding us through the trechorous river (let's just say that there weren't any class IV rapids...not even a single rapid and the water in most parts were to your ankles!)

The family at the Continental Divide in Yellowstone

We saw many animals on this trip...for the first time we saw both grizzly and black bear, many buffalo (of course, if you go to Yellowstone and don't manage to see a buffalo...you really weren't in Yellowstone!), deer and elk.

And of course, what is a trip to Yellowstone without seeing Old Faithful. Every time we would go by a sulfur bed Korbin would shout out "there is a geyser mom...it must be Old Faithful!" Everything was Old Faithful to him.

Us at the Paint Pots. This is my mom's favorite part of the park!

Jake and Kate had to take a rest on the sandy beach the day after the four wheeler ride up to Goose Lake.
