Conner's 1st missing tooth.

About 7:20 on Monday the 17th Jennifer pulled Conner's first tooth. She gave the threat of missing Halloween if he doesn't lose the tooth. With the tooth missing, now he is even more sad that he cannot whistle.

Black Canyon

Back in August, we all met at Black Canyon as a family. Here are some pictures from there.

Peyton's surgery

On October 7, Peyton had something removed from the back of his head, so he had an outpatient surgery. He is now back to his normal self, but waiting with a hungry, active, and tired two year old for the surgeon who's surgery before us went longer than expected was not on my list of most favorite things to do!

Payette's Apple Blossom

The kids that went had fun. If Conner wasn't on a ride he wanted to go play the games. The older McCarney's spent some money on the basketball hoop shoot for only two large stuffed animal. The scones or elephant ears were good this year like always. It was good to see Becca more than willing or excited to ride the rides. But of course it was he birthday. We even good Luke on a ride. How he fit, we will never know. Way to go Luke! Good thing Braddock only threw up on his last ride.

Sometimes I wish I could get excited over some of the simplest things. Maybe that will something I will look forward to these things on the downhill side of life.

Snowman

On Wednesday, December 01, we in Middleton woke up to about 10 inches of snow. Conner wanted to build his first snowman at age 4. Once it came time for pictures, Conner would only sit in front of the snowman. He wouldn't let me hold him next to the snowman. We were even lucky to have school canceled for the day.

Watermelon Champion

On Saturday, July 3rd, Middleton had a celebration in which a watermelon eating contest was included. Tyler won the first heat of 3 by eating a quarter of a watermelon the fastest. To take the title of Champion, he had to beat the winners of the other two heat by eating the most of another quarter of a watermelon in 4 minutes. But it did not take Tyler 4 minutes to eat the whole thing. His prize was a watermelon, $20 gift card to Ridley's the towns grocery store, and to shake hands with Walt Minick.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Conner, the big #4. Celebrated at Silver Creek Plunge on your birthday because he wanted to go swimming for his birthday. Tyler's birthday was the next day with him turning the big 14, but he wanted to celebrate his birthday at Wahzoos all day with a friend. Happy Birthday to the both of them.

Ride anyone?

Conner is practicing his driving skills, or is he practicing his 'pick-up' lines with his cousin Ricky just to see if McCarney SMOOTHNESS does work! Ladies, be aware.

Am I big enough?

I don't know if I can reach the pedals yet, but at least I will try.
